U2-360-Tour- EUROPE-2010

It looks like the greatest rock band of our time, U2, is going out for another European leg of the 360° Tour in 2010. This could only mean one thing for those of you who missed it the first time around… there’s more shows to come.

Here’s a little blurb from U2.com on the new dates…

Following the success of the 2009 tour, U2 have confirmed that their acclaimed 360° Tour will continue in 2010. European fans who missed out in 2009 will have a new opportunity to experience the U2 360° Tour extravaganza with stops confirmed in Germany, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Austria, Greece, Turkey, France, Spain and Portugal. Having just introduced the U2 Mobile Album, ‘No Line On The Horizon’, the band’s 12th studio album, the 2010 tour will once again be sponsored by BlackBerry.

Additional dates and cities to be confirmed.

My advice to you if you want tickets. Sign up to be a member on U2.com to get your chance at good seats before they go on sale to the public. Trust me… this works.

Also, check their site as to when the shows go on sale and by the way… they are excellent at updating the site with great photos and videos from the tour.

OH!!! I'm sorry; I'm excited! My friend Ellyn and I speculated this would happen, because how could U2 plan such a tour and NOT perform in Northern California? We purchased tickets and will drive several hours to attend the Pasadena show with the Black Eyed Peas.. (I still have two extra tickets, btw)

My point is: We bought the tickets just in case they did not announce more tour dates….. hoping that they'd announce another, more local to us, tour. Now we (hopefully) will get to go in 2010 as well! This is very exciting!

Good tips on the getting tickets. My friend passed up her opportunity to purchase advance tickets (through her U2 membership) hoping for a NorCal show and we both had no problem buying tickets within the first 10 minutes of them opening the phone lines. (however I did make a trip to my husband's work because they have very fast internet and a T1 phone line; hoping, probably superstitiously, that those things would make a difference!)

Oh, I'm so very excited by this news! Looking forward to hearing their US tour dates and venues.

I got a copy of their 8/20/09 show in Sheffield England – great sound, great song choices. It would be great to catch them live if they come to the Ohio area.
