Next Monday I’m off to Ecuador for my job. My friends Brock and Auny Gill will be down in Ecuador visiting some family and having some vacation time. I, however, am going down to show them some of the work we do in Ecuador.It will be a very quick trip. Fly in Monday, come home Wednesday. Brock is an illusionist and a great one as you can see in this photo. He is in a straight jacket and standing on glass. I tried to tell him it’s not a dream but he just kept looking down and wondering how that Houdini guy did it.
Part of our day will be spent visiting homes like the ones in this other picture. It will be a balmy 85 degrees and sunny. I couldn’t imagine living in dwellings like this.
One of the things I’m looking forward to the most is seeing how the kids respond to a few card tricks and slight of hand stuff Brock does. There’s nothing like seeing these little kids faces light up when they are having fun.
By they way, if you haven’t seen one of Brock shows, then you should go see him next time he is in your area. He’s really good. The best part of Brock and Auny are their love for people and their passion for diving into people’s stories so that they can some how be of some help to those people. It’s going to be a great trip.
