In one month I will be competing in my first Ironman event.

Ironman Louisville on August 30, 2009.

I’m almost ready for the race.

My mind is constantly racing through the event.

Step by step, thinking through every phase of the day.

I have my eye on the finish.

It will take all day.

It will hurt.

But it will be fun.

And when I am done…

I will have traveled 140.6 miles by swimming, biking, and running.

If there was ever a time to pray for me… it’s now.

4 more weeks. 100 hundreds of more miles to log in training.

All for one day.

A significant day.

A redeeming day.
